Persona Communications was formed in September 2018 after Directors Brooke Stevenson and Louise Joannou recognised a need in the Newcastle market for a cost-effective; high quality, network established consultancy that offers full-service communications. Since then, Persona has grown exponentially thanks to our outstanding work and ability to deliver results for our clients.

We work collaboratively with media, government, suppliers and influencers to put our client’s agenda first and never our own, that’s why our business flies under the radar and all our work is via existing client or colleague referral.

Because our team have skills and experience across all areas of communications, we're able to recommend integrated strategies that fit the brief and will deliver results - not what is going to service one specialty area and our own bottom line.

We also don’t believe in clients spending tens of thousands of dollars on lengthy strategy development and time working out what kind of shoe best represents your brand! We stick to the traditional principles of communications – learning about your business, defining your growth opportunities, thinking like your customer/community, developing powerful creative and messaging, and implementing a robust rollout plan.

Brooke’s career spans over 25 years, with a mash of roles in high-profile communication positions. ​

She is an expert in the written word and today leads the public affairs and media function at Persona, working with clients on internal and external strategic communications.

Brooke continues to reduce the potential risk for clients that could significantly impact their organisation.

Director Louise has worked in the communications industry for more than 20 years. As Head of Creative, Louise oversees the visual design, content production, media and digital functions at Persona.

She is a master of conveying any message through varying multi-media channels and brings an unrivalled energy. ​
